According to the National Workplace Health Promotion Survey 2006, the number of private sector workplaces that have WHP programmes has increased from 45% in 2003 to 59% in 2006. This represents 76% of the total private sector workforce compared to 64% in 2003. All public sector organisations have an ongoing WHP programmes*.
