David Kan is the Executive Director and Co- Founder of Family Life Centre (FLC), a non- profit Voluntary Welfare Organization (VWO) set up since 1997 providing family life education cum counselling services and marital enrichment programmes to the community at large.

David brings with him extensive years of training experience and knowledge in human resource development and behaviour. He also provides one to one coaching and pastoral care guidance on work- life effectiveness and in corporate Employee' Assistant Programmes.

As a senior leader and life skills trainer, he frequently conducts public workshop and various training programmes such as specialized skills training in counselling, self development and leadership, relationship optimization and motivational learning. The broad spectrum of programme participants ranges from human service sector such as social services personnel, school teachers, educators, community workers, parents and family life educators; to community and corporations which include Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd, Singapore Police Force- Traffic Police Department, MCYS- Social Development Unit, Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd, Singapore Prison Service, Health Promotion Board, Ministry of Education, 3M Singapore Pte Ltd. David engages his participants with an unique delivery style that energizes them to personalize concepts and principles presented for effective practical application.

He is also frequently cited on the media for his professional advice and insights on social issues. David has been a regular guest speaker on radio talk programmes and at many management conferences and an adjunct lecturer in counselling training institutions.

He is also a Deputy Registrar/ Licensed Solemniser with Registry of Marriages, Singapore.
